New athletes may register their interest at any stage of the season & upon their acceptance by the club confirm their membership through payment of the annual subscription (by internet banking, cheque or cash). A portion of this subscription is used to pay your annual Athletics NZ levy. Once your payment is received we send your details to Athletics Canterbury who provide us with a season programme & number (which you wear for the entire season) on your behalf. This can be collected at your first competition.

Subscriptions are valid from 1 April - 31 March for the year purchased and are due for renewal on the 1st April

Cross Country & Road athletes intending to compete during the winter season (April - October) should renew their subscription as early as possible. Please email us for a subscription form.

 

Athletes intending to compete through the Track & Field season only (October - March) should also complete their subscriptions as early as possible (recommend prior to October 1 to ensure it is processed on time), but must do so prior to their first interclub competition. Registration with our club can be completed online - please request a link to our online registration form by emailing us

1) You are a new registration for the 2011-2012 Summer (you didn't register for winter); and/or
2) You would like squad coaching for Track & Field events (just fill out relevant sections please)

2011-12 Membership Renewal

  

A membership renewal pack has been emailed to existing junior section members for the 2011-12 season. Payment of all fees are due by 10 September 2011 to secure membership. We ask existing members only to please complete their registration renewal by post.

 

Following this, new junior membership applications can be made at either of two open days held at Westburn School on 13 & 17 September 2011.

 

Please note that due to the need to cap numbers in each age-group first-time membership is not first come first-served. As per last season, an applications sub-committee has been formed to oversee our membership application guidelines and to review all applications. The UC junior section committee will then discuss the sub-committee's recommendations.
